Who is the Lord of my life?? Jesus Christ or
this world? Who will I listen to? that will show who truly IS the lord
of my life. Words mean nothing if my actions don't follow. If Jesus is
the Lord of my life then my life will be all about following Him and
obeying His commands and not following what the World says is right or
wrong. What does his Word say? That is what I will do. Thank you Jesus!
John 14:15 - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Jesus loves us so much
Jesus loves us sooo much more than we will ever know or understand! No person will ever complete us - it must be Jesus that fills our heart. He gave us so much. We take it for granted. I am praying to understand more fully this Easter season Gods love for me. That I would be a "Daddy's girl" to my heavenly Father.

If it be possible, let this cup pass from me
Matthew 26:39(KJV)
And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Question: Why would Jesus pray this prayer knowing that it would not change anything?
~ God is able to change his mind and has done so because of prayer
Ex 32:11-14
~ Our persistence in prayer can changes outcomes
Luke 18:1-8/Luke 11:5-10
~ God wants to give us good things
Mt 7:7-11/James 1:17
We also have to remember the end of the verse "not as I will, but as thou wilt." - Our will may not be Gods will - we ultimately want what God wants for us :)
Keep on praying~ Prayer DOES change things! :)
